Miwa Shuzo achieved a Pure Rice Sparkling Nigori-zake with carbonation derived from secondary fermentation in-bottle,creating a crisp, clean taste after the sweetness of the rice and the richness of Nigori-zake. The process of “secondary fermentation in a bottle” is equivalent to the Champagne Method for wine. The naturally-produced fine bubbles create a fresh and pleasant texture.

This sake is just brewed with rice, rice koji, and Miyamizu, the famed sake-brewing water welling up in the Nada-Nishinomiya area where the brewery is located. It is tasting dry and impossibly smooth and enjoyable at cold to warm temperatures with a wide variety of foods.

This junmai sake is made with unfiltered Miyama-Nishiki sake-brewing rice that has been cultivated over many years in Yamagata to convey the depths of flavor. One of Shuho’s most popular and beloved products.

Created with the use of an original yeast strain (HA14 Yeast), designed to bring out intense fruity flavours. Despite being a Junmai sake, the fresh aromas and flavours are surprisingly similar to a Daiginjo. It's recommended to serve this sake in a wine glass to bring out the best of it's aromatic character.
